So, what’s so different from the current one at friendster? Well, I’ve more freedom in terms of layout and functionality by using blogspot.com. Besides, I can re-decide what name I’d like to use for it. Hehe … call me "vain" lar ….

Hope you’ll enjoy my adventure in discovering so many things in this world be it from the place I’ve used to know, I just know or I am about to know.

When bears are not following
the law of nature, should we be worried?

Yes, we should! The bears
are supposed to be sleeping like a baby now but I was shocked to know from the
news last nights, they are wild awake and some are even looking for food in the
dumpster. WAT!!! Sigh …. And guess what’s the cause of all these? Let’s point
finger to .. ourselves. Yeah!! It’s us. 
But why should we care about
a bunch of bears that refused to sleep? It sounds so much like when we refused to
take a nap when we were young. But this time the impact is worse. You see,
napping is good for kids. To me … napping will give me more energy to play at
night :p …. But for the bears, when they refuse to sleep when they have been
doing it for ages, it means something must be wrong with the nature we live in.

Animal instinct can’t go
wrong. It’s God’s way to tell us to WAKE UP and REALLY WAKE UP. I still
remember when I was young, I was in front of my window and suddenly saw
lotsssssssssssssss of birds flocking around, a few seconds later, there’s
earthquake. -.-

So, when the bears don’t
sleep, it may be due to the global warming phenomenon that’s sweeping through
our entire universe. Creeping at a steady state till one day it reaches the
critical point and we can only sit down and wonder what have gone wrong.
(Imagine another tsunami, typhoon durian or rambutan, etc) 

It ain’t pretty sight, pal.
It’s the only home we have and yet it’s the only thing we take for granted the
most. We care more of what we should wear tomorrow than what will happen to the
only place we CAN live in tomorrow if we are not doing anything about. We care
more about celebrity gossips than what we CAN do to save this earth.

It may seem to be too overwhelming to save the
earth but like the cliché phrase said, Rome is not built in just
one day, the salvation of our earth will take on the same process. I found a
few interesting sites that can help you to negate the effect of your carbon
consumption. They’ll help you plant more trees and I’ve just joined Trees for
the Future and planted 400 trees. …. Why them? I love their simple website,
and they response to me very fast. (within 12 hrs by email). My goal is to
adopt a village plants of 5000 trees in 3 years time. We will get there slowly.
It may seem to be too
overwhelming to save the earth but like the cliché phrase said,

Oh ya, for those who haven’t
watched “An Inconvenient Truth”, I highly recommend it. Please don’t be biased
and think it may be a political campaign for Al Gore … heck, I don’t care about
that. I think the fact is the message he’s trying to say is worth much more
than his publicity stunt. And I salute him for taking the effort to putting all
the facts together and presented it with taste.

I can not do nothing after I’ve bumped into this photo. It may be quite disturbing but at the same it has a deeper meaning to it.


Thích Quảng Ðức, a Buddhist monk from Vietnam, has set himself to fire and burned to death in 11 June 1963 in a busy street of Saigon. It’s an act of protest of the way the government is suppressing Buddhism.

It’s claimed that throughout the entire process, he remained peaceful, didn’t make noise and move a single muscle.

I know some of you may think it’s very cruel and may not portray Buddhism well. But I’m not here to judge whether the act is wrong or right. There are always both sides of the story. Two sides of the coin. It’s just this photo to me is trying to say that to create change it has to start with ourselves not others. Burning ourselves is definitely too extreme and I’ll not even attempt it to my little toe. -.-

Well, for those of you who’ve watched “Click” starring talented comedian, Adam Sandler, you’ll definitely understand what I’m going to share below. For those who don’t, I beg you to watch. BEG …. *down on my feet*. Please don’t miss sucha great movie. Yeah, I know Adam Sandler’s shows tend to be crappy but trust me it always has meaning behind it and this time it is showcased brilliantly. So, please watch. If you still don’t like it … hmmm … I’ll see if I can get a Universal Remote Control, and I’ll record your life instead. (Joking la ….)

I’ve watched this show 2 weeks ago. I remembered I’m begging my friends to watch with me but last minute, almost no one could make it. I seriously determined to watch it myself till one of my friend came to the rescue. …. *Thank you very much for that*

I’ve heard lots of good review from people who’ve watched it. Most of them said,”It is very meaningful.” But I’ve also read bad reviews from magazine and newspaper, saying it’s another slapsticks comedy with no substance. BLA BLA BLA.

Guess what, the moment I saw the preview even before anybody has watched the show, I know I’m in for a good ride. When “The One Up There” kinda theme is involved, normally the show can’t go too wrong. Though it’s stupid, it’ll still try to convey a message that’s more profound than eyes can normally grasp. (OK OK, let me be humble. I just like stupid show. I even like Spongebob Squarepants! Oooppps…..)

So, I began my journey with Adam who’s an architect who thought life will be better when he got his promotion. He neglected his family and put all his heart into his work, thinking when my work has stabilized, I’ll have more time for my family. (How many of you can relate to that? I sure can.) The Almighty heard his cries when his works were so overwhelming and gave him a Universal Remote Control that could make him go back to the past, fast forward the unpleasant part of his life, stop the time, and can even turn on TV, fan, etc. What a bargain.

I’ll not reveal too much what happens in the movie as I understand some of you will choose to watch it and experience it yourself. But what I’d like to draw out from the movies for those who plan not to watch it is that, Life is not just passing by and getting to the final destination. But it’s every moment and every second of it that really count. Yeah, some of the moments are not pleasant … (may be I’m being too nice to use the word “pleasant”) let me re-write … some of the moments are just CRAP. It can be painful, humiliating, disappointing, terrifying, killing … you name it. But, living it and giving it 400% of what you’ve got by even just experiencing it and brace it, will make you grow 800% more. Cry to the maximum. Fail to the maximum. Enjoy to the maximum too. When everything has passed, then you look back or look down or look from wherever you want, you can proudly tell yourself,” I’ve given my very best and I lived with no regrets” (Eh! I suddenly sound like William Hung (the Fallen American Idol who sang “She Bangs”. Look what happened when he too has given his best. Think he made more $$ than some of the top 20 idols.)

Life is indeed beautiful, with or without its make-up on. J Live it awakened!

Hello blog

Haven’t been communicating with you for quite sometimes. Have I missed anything? I am not sure. May be I may have missed the possiblity of creating ripples in my life … like how a drop of water affects the movements of the lake. But then again, I have nothing to write recently. My inspiration has not really stopped its flow but I’ve kinda let it flow internally only. I’m not sure this is good or bad, cause basically I don’t care.

Well, how’s life so far from then to now, if one may ask me … as if anyone bothers but then again, I bother :p … so I’ll say. Life has been pretty interesting. Life has always been interesting actually it’s just whether you notice it or not, life is always by my side showing me more days by days as long as I’m not blinded by routines and others. You’ll be amazed in one day how many times you actually live your life for others instead of for yourself. You may justify that it’ll be for the better. You may say it’s because you care and also this is who you are. I will not argue that. But being a convert, I believe in living for yourself and love first only yourself. As when you are taken care of, the rest will follow.

Even though I’m a new believer but doing it is another issue. It’s still hard to love myself at times despite of all the blessings that surround me, I - like any greedy eyes, still keep a look-out at what possibilities life may bring to me.

Well, nothing is wrong with possibilities. It creates more room to grow and expand one’s horizon. Possibilities triggers hope and the knowing that one can achieve more than they have ever thought. But, with a shaken ground of being who you really are, possibilities may be a nest of disappointments and blind expectations. Being something whom you are not just because you think it’s good for you, but may be after all those are just illusions.

It’s funny at times I think that life is indeed quite simple. Be it with lots of no money at all, life still can be simple. But yet, we just love to complicate things. I believe most of us know how to simplify our lives but I can bet that most of us secretly crave for some complexities that they think may excite their lives and bring them to new experiences. Irony.

I’m not sure I see any point or destination to my current writing. But like those wisemen said, it’s the journey that matters.

And I’m just wishing that everyone is able to live their lives by simply being themselves. Stand firm to your principle and when you look back, despite of all the attempts to be swayed, you are still standing. No one owns your life unless you give them the power to. Then life will really be worth it.

It’s amazing how animals have the instinct to live life so naturally. Walking side by side with the unknown and whether it will make them or break them, they keep walking till they know they’ve tried everything they can and life call it an end.

How many of us are still having the invisible leash? Tied up in the job you hate, relationship that is going no where, etc. Just remove the knot one button and make the lease less tighter and soon, you’ll be free without you knowing. Just explore more opportunities, sniff sniff, plan for it, get some help and support and go for it.

You only have one life, when else can you decide to do what you really passionate about?

I can’t help but to give her something

“Gia khi ciak. (buy something to eat)”, I said

I was thanking you in my heart, old-granny-by-the-street

Thank you for accepting my small little token

And most importantly, thank you for teaching me

How one still can smile despite of any hardships
